Data Center Fees

When it comes to data centers and colocation services, there are only two things you have to worry about, your Rack Space Rental Fees and the Internet Connection Charges.

  • Rack Rental Fees – By hiring a data center, you get to lease the space available to them. The amount is usually inclusive of basic electrical services. Of course, additional fees may also be levied, depending on the particular needs of the client.
  • Internet Connection Charges – These are fees you have to pay for bandwidth. The bandwidth may vary between data centers but usually, most of them provide clients with a 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps Ethernet connections.

For special clients, these facilities could provide connections up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gigabit). However, it should be noted that the costs for this would be a bit higher. After all, only a few clients find themselves in need of such.

As you may well know, data centers and colocation is not your sole option. After all, cloud solutions are the newest trend right now. However, we recommend that you stick with what you know will serve your company best.
